Since being back from Toronto I spend most of my days escaping this very humid Summer heat. Spending a lot of time in pool, inside in front of fan, or escaping to the seaside. Anything really to cool my poor pregnant body down, even if nothing really seems to work. To keep you up to date on my life in the South of France, I wanted to share some of my latest photos from my Instagram. I have some fun adventures coming up in the next couple of weeks, one being a weekend away in Sarrians where we are staying in a very old Bastide and visiting an antique fair in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue. So make sure to follow along on all my daily antics @mapleandmacaron.

I love being back on the old streets of Le Cannet, listening to my Summer playlists, and walking my little dogs all around town.
Summer blooms in all their glory.
Just received in the mail some fun Polaroid prints I ordered to add some personal touches around the house.
Stopped by NIVA, this new Italian gelato shop in Cannes. They make their gelato in house and I already want to go back for another strawberry milkshake!
My belly views from last week at the pool. Those toes of mine will soon be completely hidden.
I have a long list of to do's around the home, one being finish decorating our bedroom. My little nook I just finished with my beloved peacock chair.
It is my favourite season in the South of France right now... lavender season! My mother-in-law just harvested all of hers and let me take some home. The smell is incredible!
Getting organized in the nursery and admiring all of the cute things we have so far.
One of my favourite parts of Summer are the all the fresh tomatoes, straight from the garden.
I eat this salad way more than I would like to admit. So delicious!
Me and my belly at 30 weeks. This baby is getting big and strong! Only 9 weeks to go and I simply cannot wait to meet this little bébé.
James and I have been taking many evening hikes in the forest with the dogs, just as the sun begins to set. No wonder they call it the golden hour.
