COCO ROCHA'S BABY NURSERY

April 14, 2015

I think it comes as no surprise that I am on the hunt for inspiration for our own baby nursery. But I am finding it can be hard to find rooms I love, because for me they are very gender based, or won't go with the rest of the style of our house. We want the room to feel like us, a place we want to hang out in with our baby, and not a room completely covered in baby things. We also want the room to grow with the baby as it gets older, so we don't have to change it all up as he/she matures. And it seems we are not alone in our wants, enter Coco Rocha. She and her husband James Conran wanted just that for their baby girl Ioni, saying "I never wanted a nursery to look too babyish. A baby doesn't know that it's in a room just for them. I wanted it to be interesting."

Vogue went inside their beautiful and non traditional baby nursery and shared some exclusive photos. I feel like the room captures exactly what they were after. To me this room looks more like a kid's bedroom, but completely adult friendly as well. I love the eclectic mix of styles, patterns, and graphics, and how their main focus was on art.

So much inspiration in one room! Don't you just love it?
