FRENCH FRIDAY 5

November 15, 2013

TGIF! Friday doesn't just mean the weekend is tomorrow, it also means that your French lesson is today. So far I have taught you how to insult someone, I taught you some dirty and naughty words and how to describe yourself as a sex fiend. This week I thought to myself, people might get themselves into a sticky situation where they may need a washroom, or they accidentally 'let one rip' and these people might not know how to discreetly say this happened. I mean why would you want to say you have to poop in English when you can politely say it in French? So if you ever find yourself in a not so pleasant encounter, I would suggest to avoid embarrassing yourself you should try these words and phrases out.

Lesson Of The Week

Words:
Merde = Sh*t
Un rot = A burp
Faire pipi = Tinkle
Avoir des gaz = To have gas

Phrases:

Je dois faire caca. = I gotta make a poop.
(I mean, how perfect? We all have to at one time or another, so instead of drawing negative attention to oneself just explain to your coworkers you are leaving your desk because "Je dois faire caca.")

Qui c'est qui a pété? = Who farted?

(How rude! If someone is going to do that in public you need to get down to the bottom of it and ask around to see who dealt it.)

Je vais me faire dessus! = I am about to crap my pants!

(I think this phrase will come in handy the most. We have all been there, hopefully I have been the only one who was about to "Je vais me faire dessus!" in the middle of the Serengeti with no toilet to be seen.)

Now tell me you won't seem classy when you say these simple, everyday phrases? It's genius! It may not be a pleasant topic, but we are all human and as they say "Sh*t happens".

Hey! If you are a nympho, you will love last week's lesson.
